In this age of information super high way, almost every popular newspaper is available online.
And, we know that many of the news papers are turning web only editions instead of having a printed edition in US. For an average user far from his house in Karnataka, Internet is a boon which provides almost every information of his home town easily.
I've tried here to collect the list of almost every news papers having their online versions. Please use the contact forum to inform me the one's i may be missing in the list.
Prajavani daily newspaper - One of the most popular kannada news paper. Publishes simoltaniously from Bangalore, davanagere and several other places. Nice news collection and well balanced political standing. They also publish Deccan herald english news paper and several other magazines too.
Sanjevani - Sanjevani is a evening news paper published from Bangalore. Covers mainly Political news and news related to Bangalore and surrounding areas like Kolar, Tumkur, Mysore etc.
Vijaya Karnataka - It is a news paper, started by VRL lorry and bus service owner Mr. Vijay Sankeshwar. It is highly popularized with its initial offer price of Rs 1 when other newspapers were chargin around Rs. 2 to Rs. 3 at that time. It is headed by famous journalist Vishweshwara Bhat as editor.
Udayavani - This is the kannada daily news paper published from Mangalore. Published by Pai groups, Mangalore, Bhatkal and surrounding news will have more importance here.
Kannada prabha - This is another news paper which is published from Indian Express group. Generally, they will have very provocative head lines. Generally, filled with lots of kannada movie advertisements too. Average news coverage.
Samyuktha Karnataka - It is a daily newspaper published earlier from hubli - dharwad. Now, it is having davanagere and other editions too. Good news coverage from Dharwad and surroundings like hubli, haveri, hangal, gadag etc.
Navika - A district level evening news paper published from Shimoga. Actually, they are putting up their JPG file on blogspot, No real, surfing is possible though. News is mainly covered from Sagar, Jog, Shikaripur, Honnali, Bhadravathi, Soraba etc.
Ee Sanje - This is another evening news paper published from Bengaluru. Karnataka political news will be having focus. Mainly it serves news and information on Bengalooru, Bengalooru rural, Kolar, Tumkur, Mysore, Hassan and Chickamagalur area's.
Sankranthi - This is a news paper which is popular in Mysore, Mandya, Chamaraj Nagar and Kodagu districts. Covers political news from the state.
Shimoga times - It is a news paper which recently started by Mr. chandrakanth. Earlier, he worked as an Editor in Navika evening kannada paper from Shimoga. Naturally, He is a pro BJP person and most of the articles do favour BJP in his paper.
Hosa digantha - Another news paper primarily with BJP focus. It is published from Bangalore, Mangalore and Shimoga. Lets see how it goes.
