Online Kannada magazines from Karnataka

I know that there are not many online versions of Kannada magazines available. And those available are mostly paid ones.

The list of magazines presented here includes both paid ezines and free (if any) ones too.

Mayura - A kannada monthly magazine having novels, short stories, serials etc. Published by Deccan herald group which also publishes Prajavani news paper. It is on trial version now and hence it is Free to register and read.

Sudha - The online version of my favourite kannada weekly magazine. Again, free to register and use for a limited time. Includes many short stories, articles, kannada cinema information, puzzles, comics for kids etc.

Taranga - It was a very popular magazine earlier. Published by the Pai groups of Manipal, has good information resources. But, It is not free and you have to pay for it to access it ( Pai's are not for charity! ).

Roopatara - Another publication from Udupi - Manipal's pai group. Obviously not free and one must pay to see it. I could not have a glance at it because it is paid.

Vikranta Karnataka - A recent weekly news magaizine under famous journalist Ravindra Reshme. Good news analysis, information, stories, interviews, film news etc.

A list of websites providing free sms from internet to indian mobile phones.

Most of web sites do offer free non registered sms sending facility. But, some of them offer sms to only registered members. Generally, the registration will be free.

way2sms - One of the new free sms to india providers. Almost similar to 160by2 service. But, the advantage here is, They allow 110 character sms for the users and use 50 characters for their own. They do have a wap site which can be used with any gprs enabled mobile for sending free sms.

160by2 - One of the most popular free net to mobile sms facility provider. But, you can only send sms having a maximum of 80 characters. The remaining 80 characters are used for advertisement by the web site. Also, You can send only 50 sms per day. Be careful while storing the contact phone numbers here, because some times, they block your account without a reason.

AtroChatro - This web site offers 2 sms per day per IP address without any need for registration. Just type your message, feed the mobile number, put the verification code and send the message. Simple and fun.

Bizhat sms - You can send sms to very limited gsm mobile numbers. They allow 140 character message sending. No registration required, but your mobile number and email id's are required for message transfer.

Sms Gupshup - A very easy to use service which helps in sharing sms messages between a group of users. Needs free registration to use. The best part is, it even allows to send sms pictures too.

Proxy hosting providers

I know that finding a web host that allows proxy hosting is a tedious task. Many web hosting providers do not accept to host proxies because they consume too much of bandwidth, cache space and cpu resources.

Hence, many proxy hosting providers offer to host proxies on dedicated or Vps servers only. But, generally for hosting one or two startup web or cgi proxies, it is just too much of an investment.

I have tried here to collect web proxy hosting providers available in the market. And while listing, i tried to include their cheapest proxy plan only. I will continue to updated it, whenever i'll find a proxy host.

The hosting providers list is not arranged in any order. I'll add the hosts as i find them. Btw, some of the providers may be offering some discounts. I have not added those discounts.

User Web Directory is aimed to be a valuable online resource for getting specific information for targetted requirements.

The listed elements are personally hand picked by me and almost none of them are submitted by any individual for approval.

I really don't believe in accepting mass submissions and having a pile of useless MFA sites and spam sites.
